Materials

• Lines: You can innovate and use your creativity using colors and textures whatever. I, for example, used the amigurumi soft line to do the hair, baloon friend to make the star, and the rest the amigurumi line. In the course of the recipe, I will specify the code of the lines I used.

Note: the low stitch must be in the central part of the mermaid’s body. If If necessary, change the points to center it.

Hair

Rnd 1. With the line amigurumi soft 3542 (love) make a magic ring with 6 sc
Rnd 2. 6 inc (12sc)
Rnd 3. (1sc + 1inc) x 6 (18sc)
Rnd 4. (1sc + 1inc+ 1sc) x 6 (24sc)
Rnd 5. (3sc + 1inc) x 6 (30sc)
This was the base of our mermaid’s hair. Now every stitch of round 30 will be worked individually, and will represent a strand of the mermaid’s hair. We’ll start with the back of the hair.

From Wire 1 to Wire 6. Go up 25 chains, go back skipping 1 stitch and make 1 sc + 23hdc. Always start the next stitch with 1slst.
Wire 7. Go up 21 chains, go back skipping 1 stitch and do 1 sc + 23 hdc.
Always start the next stitch with 1 slst.
Wire 8. 1slst
Wire 9. Climb 7 chains, go back skipping 1 stitch and do 1sc + 5hdc.
Wire 10. 1slst
Wire 11. Climb 6 chains, come back skipping 1 stitch and make 5 sc

I prefer to nail it with fabric glue. With the help of pins, arrange the wires on the head before sewing or gluing them. Don’t forget to center the bangs well. I didn’t glue the fringes, I preferred to leave them loose. Use as you see fit!

Swimwear (x2)

The suitã will be shaped like two shells.
Rnd 1. With the amigurumi line 6614 (lavender) make a magic ring with 1hdc+ 2dc+
1mpa. Close the ring.
Sew or glue the two shells between rows 18-20.

Star

Rnd 1. With the balloon line friend 4254 (sunflower) make a magic ring with 5hdc
At each point of the magic ring do: 1slst go up 4 chains. go back to chain skipping the first stitch and make 1sc, 1hdc and 1dc. after doing this 5 times, finish with 1 sc. Sew or glue the star to the side of the head.
