First, we’ll start with the toy’s head. It has an unusual head design. Especially between rounds 9 and 22, the toy’s head looks a bit like a cylinder because you keep doing the same repetition.
Head
1. MR + 6 sc
2. 6inc (12 sc)
3. 1sc+1inc (18sc)
4. 2sc+1inc (24sc)

When crocheting the lion’s head, please do not forget to attach the eyes to the toy’s head. Once the stuffing is finished, we can continue with the toy’s body. The lion has a very chubby body and we will use the increase technique for this body.

I couldn’t see the lion’s ears in the photo, but they are included in the pattern. Also, the crochet ears are crocheted in 8 rounds and are quite large.

Mane Amigurumi Plush-0716
To form the mane, we will outline the head in single crochet (the thread can be the same shade as the thread for the mane or the one used in the piece). Then we will make sheep stitch, which can be with 3 or 4 chain links.

Truffle
To form the truffle, we will embroider it with a thread that contrasts with the thread used as the base.
