Yarns:
• Color A: yellow YarnArt Jeans 35 (50g, 160m)
• Color B: orange Alize Cotton Gold 83 (100g, 330m)
• Color C: hot pink YarnArt Jeans 59 (50g, 160m)
• Color D: turquoise Alize Cotton Gold 610 (100g, 330m)
Other materials:
• Crochet hook size 2.5mm
• Safety eyes size 8mm, 2 wooden buttons size 12mm
• Tapestry needles, brown thread, pins, stitch markers, scissors, polyester fiberfill
• The size of the finished crochet duck is about 15 cm.

Break the yarn.
Bowtie
(Yarn C: small piece, yarn D: big piece)
We will make 2 pieces and then attach together to make a bowtie. Small piece: start with 30 ch, Bigger piece: start with 36 ch. Below is the instruction for the small piece, make the bigger one the same way.
Rnd 1. ch 30, slst on the 1st ch to make a ring, ch 1, *skip 1 st, (sc 1, dc 1) on the same st*, repeat ** to the end, slst on the ch 1, turn (30)
Rnd 2-4. ch 1, *skip 1 st, (sc 1, dc 1) on the same st* please notice that the (sc 1, dc 1) will be on the sc stitch of the previous rnd, repeat ** to the end, slst on the ch 1, turn (3 rnds) (30)
Break the yarn.
Assembling
• Place markers at 1st st & 12th st of rnd 18 of the body.
• Join 2 marked sts together with a slst st.
• Continue to crochet the head.
• Start stuffing as crocheting the head.
• Use tapestry needle to sew 2 edges of the opposite remaining sts on the body.
• Start stuffing as sewing.
• Sew to the head, hide the remaining yarn.
• Sew the wings on the body with 2 buttons.
• Place the eyes between rnd 29& 30 of the head, 12sts apart.
• Sew 2 cheeks on each side of the head.
• Sew the beak between 2 eyes.
• Sew the tail to the body.
• Crochet the Bobble St: 4 hdc on the same st (you will have 5 rings on the hook).
• Pull through all 5 rings.
• Crochet as instructed for the legs.
• Weave in last 6 sts and leave a long yarn thread.
• Sew 2 legs on the body.
• Crochet the bowtie.
• Leave a long yarn and wrap several times around both pieces to creat the bowtie.
• Sew the bowtie on the head and the duck is done.
